A film by a graduate of the Wajda School's "Studio Prób" (Feature Film Programme). The script was selected as part of the Wajda School Foundation's "15 Minutes to Premiere" initiative. An old man in a twilight of his life longs for his greatest passion - flying. He does not remember people or events from the past anymore, but his feelings remain the same when he looks up at the sky. The former ace, now all that he has left are memories.

STIMULANTS & EMPATHOGENS 25' Mateusz Pacewicz
Antek, a closeted teenage gay from a wealthy family, invites a teenage drug dealer Kuba – he has a hopeles crush on – to his villa under the pretext of another drug transaction. However, he does not know that Kuba has a mission that he received from his superiors – his Father and his Brother. The dealer’s family suspects that Antek resells their mephedrone at a profit at his school, so Kuba is supposed to investigate the situation. The story begins as a romantic comedy of errors, turns into a social satire to end, after various adventures, with an emotional plot twist. "Stimulants & Empathogens" won the Grand Prize in the 15-MINUTE FILM category at the Script Pro Screenplay Competition; it was screened all over the world starting at the short films competition of Krakow Film Festival, it particularly earns the hearts of the viewers and juries of the LGBTQ+ film festivals. Awarded at the Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival, the 14th QUEER-Streifen Film Festival in Germany, River Film Festival in Italy, Connecticut LGBTQ Film Festival in Canda, LGBTQ Toronto Los Angeles Film Festival, Indie Short Fest in LA, Madrid International LGBTIAQ+ Film Festival, and the Polish Film Festival Los Angeles. The winner of the Short Film Audience Choice Award at the Freiburg Gay Film Festival 2026 in Germany, Best LGBTQI+ Award at Dublin International Comedy Festival 2025, Best International Film 2026 at Crystal Palace International Film Festival in UK, was crowned the Audience Award winner for Best Short Film in The Netherland, at Amsterdam LGBTQ+ Film Festival.

In simple scenes from her daily life, humour meets nostalgia as the essential themes of love, aging and death are unexpectedly touched upon.
