Industry Role: Entertainment Lawyer
Life rights are the permission to use all of the personal details and characteristics that make up someone’s life, such as their image, name, likeness and experiences. As a filmmaker you found out about someone with an interesting story, and you’d like to develop TV show or film based on their life. But how can you get permission? In this session we will show what you need to know about Life Rights Agreements and how they can help you develop your project and minimize the risk of problems down the road.
