The Wikipedia page about chorizo becomes a battleground when Diogo discovers that a Spanish editor has removed Portugal from the sausage's origin list.
Synopsis:
Diogo, an advertising copywriter from Lisbon who spends his days writing for brands he doesn’t care about, sees his routine turned upside down when he discovers that the Wikipedia page for chorizo doesn’t mention Portugal.
Unbeknownst to him, this itty-bitty correction spirals into a digital battle of egos, nationalism, and obsession when Hernán, a wealthy Spanish heir with far too much free time, decides to turn the origin of the sausage into a struggle for Iberian hegemony.
As edits multiply and tempers flare, the dispute grows into a bizarre digital crusade fought through fake accounts, patriotic manifestos, and the online encyclopedia’s labyrinthine bureaucracy, drawing a frustrated teenager, a mercenary editor, two exhausted administrators, a smokehouse factory owner, and an endless horde of trolls into the fray.
The edit war soon spills into everyday life, threatening to consume our keyboard warriors entirely as the rivalry between Diogo and Hernán grows to truly absurd proportions.
