In a distant future, a TV crew travels the world in search of treasures. To save their show from cancelation they have to keep up the illusion that their delusional host is a brilliant archaeologist.

Synopsis:

An animated series set in a future where most of history has been forgotten. A struggling reality show follows Buffalo Johansson, a swaggering TV adventurer who believes he is a legendary archaeologist. He is not. He is a delusional showman whose wildly incorrect interpretations of rediscovered 21st-century junk turn every expedition into accidental comedy.

Behind the scenes, his crew works overtime to maintain the illusion. His overqualified daughter Puck quietly fixes his mistakes to prevent public humiliation. Temperamental mining robot Kelly doubles as Buffalo’s only friend and his self-driving sports car. Morally flexible producer Denzell edits reality into something that resembles heroism. Together, they trek through radioactive wastelands, robot slums, trash mountains, and psychedelic death parks, chasing artifacts and ratings.

The real threat is not the dangers of the world outside. It is cancellation. To stay on air, they must constantly rewrite the truth, inflate Buffalo’s ego, and turn failure into myth.
