“Abortion Party” is as free and fun as its director, Julia Mellen. Her unfiltered energy is everywhere in the film. The characters are fascinating, and she really has a gift for storytelling. The movie takes on a heavy subject that could have felt preachy, but instead it gives us an honest look at a mind that's always buzzing. It's creative, exciting, and well worth celebrating.
