On the verge of leaving her hometown once again, Sara feels the weight of the freedom she carved out far from there. In a tone of confession, addresses to this place as if she finally released a long-held letter. Caught between the warmth of return and the ache of farewell, she begins to understand her relationship with this place that she still calls home.

Marta Bao is a director and writer born in the country side of Portugal. The sensibility for art emerged at a very young age through music, beginning with piano studies and later expanded into photography and video. During the degree in Art Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts she found in cinema a platform to explore and merge this skills into visual storytelling. While what excites her the most is sharing and creating stories, Marta has been working the fields of filmmaking as an Assistant Director, Film Editor and Producer.
