Cécilia Humez-Kabadanian - Music & Cinema Marseille

Award: An invitation to the European market for music composition for the screen at MCM

With more than twenty years of experience in the cultural sector, she has built her career at the crossroads of cinema, music, and the performing arts. She began her journey between Montreal, Paris, and Marseille, gaining experience at the Montreal Festival of New Cinema, at ARTE Cinema, as well as within production companies, audiovisual institutions, and creative organizations.
Committed to the cultural development of her region, Marseille and its surrounding areas, she has continued her work in music and the performing arts, supporting artists and organizations for over a decade in their production, distribution, and development challenges, with a transversal approach to cultural projects.
Since 2022, she has been Head of Territorial Development at the Music & Cinema Marseille (MCM) Festival, an international festival dedicated to emerging film creation and music composition for the screen. In this role, she designs and leads projects by bringing together artists, institutions, and partners around shared objectives. She also coordinates the professional programs of LAB ON MARS, which support screenwriters, directors, composers, and producers.
