In this session, cinematographer Dan Laustsen will explore how light, composition and movement shape the emotional and visual language of a film. Drawing on his experience across major international productions, he will reflect on the relationship between cinematography, tone and storytelling, and on how a distinctive visual approach can help define character, space and dramatic tension. Dan Laustsen is known for his work on films including The Shape of Water, Nightmare Alley and the John Wick series.
