In this masterclass, Sarah Greenwood and Katie Spencer will explore the creative process behind the visual world of Barbie. Through a case study approach, the session will look at how ideas, references, colour, scale, materials and spatial logic were developed into one of the most distinctive cinematic environments of recent years.

The conversation will also reflect on the collaboration between production design, set decoration, direction, cinematography and costume, offering participants valuable insight into how an ambitious visual concept is translated into a fully realised film world.
