Gonçalo L. Almeida is a film director and producer, who graduated from Escola Superior Artística do Porto. He is currently finishing his feature‑length documentary A Cidade e os Mapas, co‑directed with Alexandra Guimarães, which won the Working Class Heroes grant. The duo has also directed and produced the short films Musgo (2021) and Cristóval‑Pontebarxas (2022), which have been screened at several national and international film festivals.
