„Passengers on one big Spaceship“ follows two interwoven storylines set over a single night in Vienna. One strand centers on two teenage boys who attempt to assert dominance and identity through escalating social transgressions, objectification, and performative masculinity within peer dynamics. Their interactions increasingly shift toward coercion, humiliation, and reckless escalation. Parallel to this, the film depicts an older alcoholic man navigating a social gathering where his addiction becomes both visible and contested by those around him, exposing tensions of care, denial, and responsibility. Across both narratives, everyday interactions gradually deteriorate into aggression, exploitation, and moral disintegration, reflecting a broader portrait of alienation in urban nightlife.
