An introverted teen Alec, who has only ever experienced sex through the lens while working for his father’s pornography business, must step out from behind the camera when a feisty classmate challenges him to embrace a real connection.

TRULY NAKED is Muriel d’Ansembourg’s debut feature, which had its world premiere at the Berlinale 2026 (Perspectives competition), sparking a bidding war among distributors.

She studied screenwriting in The Netherlands before earning a Masters in Directing (Distinction) from the London Film School, where she received mentorship from Oscar-winning director Paweł Pawlikowski. Her work is rooted in delicate performances, pushing the envelope on themes that spark conversation, letting audiences experience something unfiltered, complex, and unexpectedly sensitive. She enjoys working with a combination of seasoned and first-time actors.

Her short films garnered 36 awards across 200+ festivals worldwide. Highlights include GOOD NIGHT, nominated for the BAFTA, with a theatrical release in multiple countries, and FUCK-A-FAN, which premiered at the Tribeca 2024, lauded for its intimate portrayal of human connection and honest depiction of female sexuality.
