The film is a direct follow-up to Man of Marble, taking us on a journey, a few years later, where a journalist investigates Mateusz Birkut's son Maciek Tomczyk, now an activist leading a shipyard strike. Winner of the Palm D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1981.
