Pedro Domingo has worked in the 3D world for over fifteen years. He began his career in the animation movie Tadeo Jones, working for Lightbox Entertainment. He then worked on blockbuster american films, working for Nu Boyana Film Studios, in Bulgaria. This is where the seed for Nu Boyana Portugal was first planted.

From there, several international experiences followed, in film, series and advertising, including work in The Jungle Book – a mega-production in MPC London, which won the Oscar for best visual effects. In animation, it is worth mentioning the hit kids series Cleo and Cuquin, from Anima Kitchen Studio.

Throughout these years, Pedro remained in contact with Nu Boyana Film Studios CEO Yariv Lerner, and the idea of creating a team working remotely was discussed. Pedro moved to Portugal and started the adventure of building this structure from scratch. And so Nu Boyana Portugal was born. Since 2018, Nu Boyana Portugal has over 30 people working in different box office successes, such as Rambo V - Last Blood, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Jolt, The Protégé, The Outpost, Hellboy, Angel Has Fallen, among other projects and a new animation brand.
