FEST announces, in partnership with Goldcrest Films- one of the biggest post-producer, producer and distributor houses in europe – a new award to the winning project of the FEST-Pitching Forum in the category of short film. The winning project will receive full sound and picture editing for their film, provided by Goldcrest.

Goldcrest is a leader in the sound and picture post-production categories. Award winning productions include "Lés Misérables" with an Academy Award in sound mixing, a BAFTA film award for sound, and a Cinema Audio Society Outstanding Achievement in sound mixing. "Skyfall" won Goldcrest a Motion Picture Sound Editors in best sound editing: sound effects and foley in a feature film while "Hollow Crown: Richard II" won a BAFTA Award for sound and the best sound design at Music and Sound Awards. The producer and distributor collaborated in projects such as "Star Wars", "Harry Potter", "Mamma Mia!", "Sherlock Holmes", "Carol" and "The Danish Girl".

This award is a precious help to any project: on one hand it gives the film awareness and credibility while on the other hand provides huge relief in the project’s budget.
