On June 22nd, as part of FEST PRO 2023, FEST, Creative Europe Media Desk Portugal, and Creative Europe Desk Basque Country, Spain will dedicate special sessions and networking moments to discuss the funding opportunities offered by the EU Creative Europe MEDIA Program to the European film and audiovisual sector.
Leading the special session will be Susana Costa Pereira (Executive Coordinator of Creative Europe Desk Portugal) and Ainhoa González Sanchiz (MEDIA Desk Basque Country, Spain). The session will also feature the participation of Portuguese director and producer Rodrigo Areias. Participants will have the opportunity to clarify their doubts and obtain useful information on how to make the most of this valuable initiative with the two guest speakers.
The participation of MEDIA DESK in FEST - New Films New Directors will consist of various in-person activities in the beautiful coastal city of Espinho, all aimed at promoting program opportunities and fostering future international collaborations.

EU's Creative Europe MEDIA Program Presentation and Q&A with fund beneficiaries with Susana Costa Pereira, Ainhoa González Sanchiz, Rodrigo Areias
In this informative session, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the funding possibilities offered by the EU's Creative Europe MEDIA Program to the European film and audiovisual sector. With a special focus on funding lines to support producers, the speakers will address the main objectives of the program, the types of projects eligible for funding, and the application and selection processes.
This MEDIA session will expand FEST PRO 2023, which will bring a list of renowned professionals to Espinho from June 19th to 26th.
It will also be possible to schedule Industry Meetings with Susana Costa Pereira (Executive Coordinator of Creative Europe Desk Portugal) and Ainhoa González (Executive Coordinator of Creative Europe Desk Basque Country). Information on how to request an Industry Meeting will be sent to participants during the event.

The FEST Film Educators Meetup will be the place where you can meet with colleagues from other schools to discuss the challenges faced by film education worldwide and what we can do to promote change! And above all, it is a special place to establish connections and share the best experiences with your peers.
