Directors Hub

In 2019, FEST introduced the Director’s Hub, a new platform to further expand the network of contacts, enhance new opportunities and create a more meaningful exchange of knowledge. 

It is a personalized activity for filmmakers and other industry professionals, including three sessions with various speakers, in which they discuss their experiences on certain subjects together with colleagues and the audience, being this edition its 4th one.

PROGRAM

The Program tackles a scope of issues concerning film directing through a series of debates, roundtable discussions and case studies focused on the director’s role, tasks, relationships, expectations, obstacles and challenges they have to face, both locally and internationally.

In the past editions, Director’s Hub featured directors like: André Gil Mata, Miguel Gonçalves Mendes, Jack Turits, Antoine Russbach, Aga Woszcynska, Sahad Ameen, Franziska Hoenisch, Peter Webber, Philippe Grégoire, Cátia Biscaia, Pedro Cabeleira, Nicoló Gallio, Valeria Ritcher, Ilinca Neagu, Kamen Velkovsky, Scandar Copti, Caprice Crawford, Jo Monteiro, Salomé Limón and Mila Zuo.
