Ross Baker is known as one of the hottest creatives on London’s post-production scene.  He has been nominated for five RTS (Royal Television Society) awards and has repeatedly been featured in the Televisual Top 20 colourist list since 2006. In 2015, he ranked 3rd place.

Ross’s career started in 1996 as telecine assistant in the Metrocolor Film Labs. Later, in 2000, he became Pepper Post’s junior colorist, where he received an RTS nomination for his work in Hell in the Pacific (1998). In 2004, he moved to St. Anne’s Post as a senior colorist. 

Since 2008 Ross Baker has been the Senior Colorist at Halo Post Production. He has a wide-ranging and diverse credit list working across several genres including drama, film, documentaries, commercials and music promos. Whilst at Halo Ross has been nominated 4 more times for his work on Armstrong and Miller show (2010), Outnumbered (2014), Doctor Thorne (2016) and The Missing series 2 (2017).

Some of his latest work includes: Selection Day (drama series for Netflix), John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky (feature documentary),  Bros: After The Screaming Stops (feature documentary), My Generation (feature documentary), The Planets with Professor Brian Cox (TV dox), Killer Ratings (Netflix series) and is about to start working on a new ITV drama series called Flesh & Blood.
