Mihai Giglor is a Romanian film professional with several years experience in the film festival, film production and Film promotion sectors. He studied at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj, where he graduated in Economics in 2003.

He began working in film festivals in 2007, where he was a member of the team behind the Chicago International Film Festival. He returned to his native country to work for the prestigious Transylvania International Film Festival, where he occupied the position of Festival Manager between 2002 and 2010.

After some time working in the promotion sector, he joined the team of the Doha Film Institute, where he assumed the position of Festival Manager at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival. Between 2014 and 2015 he was a member of the executive board of the Romanian National film Centre. In 2016 he became Executive Vice President Business Development and Strategy at the Bucharest Film Studio. Currently he is the Chief Operations Manager at S’YA Concept, a development estate focused on upstream development of film, television and VR content
