David Turner has 28 years experience in film and broadcast post-production. Having trained as a BBC Radio broadcast engineer, and after a period of working in music studios, David moved into post-production in the early 1990s where he found his true passion. He has worked at many London facilities including Videosonics, Molinare, Pepper and now Halo. With a broad knowledge of the technical, creative and commercial aspects of the industry, David has an in-depth understanding of film and television post-production and his expertise is widely recognized within the UK.

He is currently Head of Film at Halo, and has recently overseen the post-production on many high profile productions such as Ghost Stories (full post), My Generation (full post), Paddington 2 (sound mix), The Danish Girl (sound mix), The Nice Guys (sound mix), Les Miserables (sound mix), Journeyman (sound mix) and both series of the successful BBC drama The Missing (full post). Halo is about to commence full post-production on two new feature films: Ophelia and Melody.
