Aga Woszczyńska (b. 1984 in Poland) is a director, scriptwriter, and anthropologist. She graduated from Applied Social Sciences - the field of Contemporary Culture at the University of Warsaw in 2008 and from Directing Department at The Polish National Film School in Lodz in 2014 with the film Fragments.

She worked as a production manager and assistant director in Poland and abroad for numerous film and commercial projects.

She wrote and directed 10 shorts that traveled festivals and were sold to broadcasters internationally.

Her aesthetics and directing skills brought her to Cannes Film Festival in 2014 with Fragments which premiered in Directors' Fortnight.

Since then, the film has been screened at more than 60 film festivals around the globe winning many awards but, most of all, impacting audiences worldwide.

Aga is a Ministry of Culture scholar and received Discovering Eye Award for the most interesting emerging artist in the US. She has been a member of the jury at numerous film festivals i.a. A class Warsaw Film Festival.

Currently, she is working on her first feature Dry Land, a project selected for EAVE 2016-2017 which has received the Polish Film Institute’s support recently.
