Born in Israel and based in New York, Inbal studied Film at NYU, where she concentrated on production design. Her film credits include award- winning films Frozen River, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Pariah by Dee Reese and Beasts of No Nation by Cary Fukunaga. She has collaborated with director Derek Cianfrance on Academy Award nominated films Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond The Pines, and his Emmy-winning mini-series I Know This Much Is True.

Inbal was nominated for the David di Donatello award for her work on Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria, as well as Art Directors Guild Awards for Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter.

Inbal is the co-founder of the Production Designers Collective, the director of the Production Designers Gathering and organizer of International Production Design Week.
