Tagline:
The narrative is driven by the absence of sex education, a common theme that spans three generations, and its impact on the portrayal of female sexuality.
Synopsis:
Lilit takes us on a historical and anthropological journey through women's relationships with sex and love, from the 1950s to the present day. On this journey, we realise that we have barely made any progress in terms of sex education or knowledge of our bodies.
For our grandmothers, anything related to sex was sinful, even the most innocent of thoughts. Many of them never experienced an orgasm and did not even know they existed. Half of women born at the beginning of the 1970s admit to faking orgasms to make their partner feel good. For new generations, sex and love do not necessarily go hand in hand, and porn is their main teacher.
Through choral and individual testimonies from the protagonists of these three generations, as well as experts in the field, we will try to decipher how and why sexual relationships have changed, and what they still have in common.
Censorship, false sexual liberation and free access to all kinds of content have shaped the experiences of three generations of women. Despite socio-cultural changes, have we improved in terms of education? Are we freer to talk about sexuality, or is it still taboo? Have we improved in terms of education? Are we freer to talk about sexuality, or is it still a taboo?
