Fado singers and superpowers – the final battle between good and evil is happening in Lisbon

Synopsis: 

João lives in a typical neighborhood in Lisbon and makes a living of petty crime and singing and dancing Fado in the tourist bars. When a group of Brazilian immigrants comes to live in the neighborhood and the sound of Samba breaks the respectful silence needed to sing Fado, the offended locals join to expel the immigrants. But what was to be a fight becomes a dance, and this dance becomes the start of love. João, the best singer and dancer of the neighborhood, faces Roberto the best singer and dancer of the Brazilian immigrants and, leaving both groups in stupefaction, instead of fighting, they kiss.

After the shock, life in the neighborhood goes back to normal, now with Fado and Samba mixing in the same house. But the happy ending of this small neighborhood didn’t happen in other neighborhoods. As João and Roberto´s love is starting, the city is crumbling down. Violence is spreading in biblical proportions. There’s a new unknown sickness: Men are randomly falling into a state of depression and disappearing. The chaos spreads and dark clouds cover the city. While praying to Yemanjá and Nossa Senhora, João and Roberto develop superpowers. Their singing notes and dancing moves now create beams and balls of energy as strong as missiles. Meanhwhile, the thousands of depressed men merge into a colossal supernatural entity that no army is able to stop. João and Roberto join the fight with their new superpowers. The world's destiny is in their hands.
