Carly Hanna is a 25-year-old Lebanese director who graduated from Notre Dame University with a double focus in Directing and Cinematography. Her short film See You Soon (2022) traveled the festival circuit, winning Best Student Film at the Paris Lebanese Film Festival and the Grand Jury Award at the Oscar-qualifying Beirut Shorts.

After three years working as an assistant director across the Middle East, she took a step back from the industry grind to focus on her own voice. That path led her to Kino Eyes, where she shot her second short Mofo, and is now preparing a dark comedy titled Saturn’s Funeral. Independently, she’s also developing her debut animated feature, Elastic South.
