The 22nd edition of FEST — New Directors | New Films Festival will take place in Espinho from June 20 to 28, 2026. Starting today, filmmakers and creators from around the world are invited to submit their projects for consideration.
The submission process begins with the Early Bird period, offering discounted fees for one month, until October 15, 2025.
Submission Categories
We are accepting submissions in the following categories:

Feature Films: First and second works, including fiction and documentary.

Short Films: Fiction, documentary, experimental, and animation films by directors who have not released more than two feature films.
