Projects Submission

FEST is now accepting project submissions for the next edition!

This is a unique opportunity to present and develop projects that have been kept under wraps, showcasing them to some of the most influential producers, distributors, and investors, both nationally and internationally.

The submission period for the FEST – Pitching Forum is open until April 7, 2025, with an early-bird deadline of December 18, 2024.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

FEST – Pitching Forum is accepting submissions for Feature Gems (feature films in early development), Work in Progress (feature films in post-production), Make It Short (short films at any stage), and Series (projects at any stage), all seeking funding, international co-productions, or post-production services.

Submitted projects can be at any stage of development: Initial (concept, scriptwriting, or pre-production) or Advanced (ready to shoot, in editing, or post-production).

 

DATES

The Pitching Forum at the next edition of FEST will feature training sessions from June 24 to 26, 2025, followed by the final pitch sessions on June 27 and 28, 2025, in Espinho, Portugal.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Project applications are only accepted when submitted via one of the following options:

 

SUBMISSION FEES

The applications will be admitted between the 18th of November 2024 and the 7th of April, 2025 at 23:59 UTC. Only applications that are duly completed and paid before the deadline will be considered.

  • Submissions between the 18th of November 2024 and the 18th of December 2024 -  Early Bird - 50€

  • Submissions between the the 19th of December 2024 and 31st of March of 2025 - Regular Bird - 60€ 

  • Submissions between the 1st of April 2025 and the 7th of April 2025 - Late Fee - 85€

INFORMATIONS

Films of all genres and cinematic techniques, including experimental works, are accepted, with selection based on artistic merit, potential for success, and ability to secure funding.

All materials must be in English.

The event is open to both industry professionals and emerging filmmakers, with no age limit.
