Angela Tisner is a music composer for film, television, and video games, with a distinctive approach rooted in ethnomusicology. Her work explores the dialogue between ancestral musical traditions and contemporary sonic storytelling.

She graduated with honors from La Sorbonne University with a degree in Art History and Film, and later earned a Master’s in Ethnomusicology with a thesis on Alan Lomax’s early field recordings: "Hard Hitting Songs for Hard-Hit People: How Music Shapes Survival."

In 2021, she was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, which brought her to Los Angeles, California, where she now composes immersive scores for moving images. Her recent projects blend field recordings, acoustic instruments, and experimental textures to evoke cultural memory and emotional resonance in audiovisual narratives.
