This session, organised in partnership with the Portugal Film Commission, offers a practical introduction to the Cash Rebate system in Portugal, with insights from producer Nick Page, whose recent project Damsel was supported through the incentive.

Following a short presentation on PIC Portugal and the national funding framework, the session will take the form of a conversation between Nick and a moderator. Together they will discuss the process of accessing the rebate, production planning, and the advantages and challenges of working in Portugal. Nick will also share details about his upcoming project currently applying for the incentive.
