In a small village, xenophobic sentiment spreads against an innocent family after the village mascot, a wild dog, is beaten to death. The project is part of the pedagogical cinematic series The Inside of the Outsider about radicalisation. While the first season was a compilation of five short films, the second season (The Land in the Shadows) is an alone standing feature film.
