The individual exhibition of Vitorino Coragem, Eunice Muñoz: a closer look, will be shown on Junta de Freguesia de Espinho´s Gallery.

Vitorino Coragem is a photographer and journalist with a degree in Sociology who usually photographs personalities linked to Cinema, Theatre and Literature, with an intense focus on the body, corporal expression, the performative side of these bodies as well as the stories and messages present in this attention he gives to the key players in different areas of arts and culture, by paying them an essential tribute. In this exhibition, Vitorino Coragem is publicly showing, for the first time, the result of a photo shoot carried out near the Tagus River in Lisbon in 2016 with the iconic actress Eunice Muñoz who can be described as “recognised for the emotional depth and intensity of her performances”. Therefore, We have the beautiful opportunity to honour the great actress that was Eunice Muñoz, through the work of this photographer who, by itself, already has a remarkable influence on our attention to the protagonists of the arts and culture in Portugal.

Vitorino Coragem is a Portuguese visual artist who explores different areas of photography and video. After working in written journalism for the newspapers ‘A Capital’ and ‘Diário de Notícias’, he decided to focus on photography in 2014. Since then, he has contributed to the image creation of various theatre shows, covered music concerts and collaborated with literary festivals, producing photo shoots with writers and book covers. As a trainer, he has developed workshops centred on portrait techniques and how to tell a story through an image.
