Susana Costa Pereira has 25 years of experience in the cultural sector, mostly within Portuguese Public Administration. She worked at the Ministry of Culture (1996–97) on the Mosaic Initiative, promoting digital technologies with cultural content. Between 1999 and 2001, she was Marketing Director and later Online Business Unit Director at Grupo Media Capital. From 2004 to 2010, she worked at IGAC in Copyright and digital modernization. After a period at Masterlink as project manager, she joined Creative Europe Desk Portugal in 2014, leading the Culture Sub-programme. Since June 2019, she has been Executive Coordinator of CIEC and responsible for the MEDIA strand and the transectorial strand (Creative Innovation Lab).
