Pete Travis is a British film and television director, best known for Cold Feet, The Jury, and the films Omagh, Vantage Point, Endgame, and Dredd. Formerly a social worker, he transitioned to directing after a postgraduate film course. His debut short, Faith (1997), premiered at the London Film Festival. He later directed episodes of The Bill, Cold Feet, and The Jury, as well as Other People’s Children and Henry VIII. Omagh won the BAFTA for Best Single Drama in 2005. His feature debut Vantage Point topped the US box office in 2008. He followed with Endgame (2009) and Dredd (2012).
