Intimacy Coordinator, Actress, and Filmmaker 

Helena Canhoto is an intimacy coordinator, actress, and filmmaker with a master’s degree in Theatre. She completed her intimacy coordination training at IDC (Intimacy Directors and Coordinators) in the U.S. and is the founder of Inty, the first Portuguese company dedicated to intimacy coordination.

With a substantial on-screen career in film and television, she has won three Best Actress awards and served as a jury member at multiple film festivals. In theatre, Helena has written, directed, and performed in various productions, including the recent Quelque Chose Survivra with Imago Theatre.

Based between Portugal and Canada, she recently co-starred in a short film by Marie-Julie Bergeron and was cast in the television series Dumas and Plan B.
