Designer and Creative Director
Filipe Carvalho is a Portuguese designer and creative director, internationally recognized for his work in title design and motion graphics. With a cinematic and minimalist visual style, he has collaborated with renowned studios such as Elastic, Untold, Digital Kitchen, and Blur, and major networks like HBO and AMC. His work includes the Emmy-winning opening for Counterpart, as well as title sequences for Lioness, Cosmos, The Hostages, and Marvel films such as Thor: The Dark World.
Based in Lisbon, he is the founder of the studio Foreign Affairs, where he continues to explore the intersection of design, sound, and visual storytelling. His work has been featured by platforms like Art of the Title and festivals such as SXSW. More recently, he has expanded into directing, currently developing the documentary series Viewfinder, focused on the work of journalists in conflict zones.
