The Executive Master in Audiovisual Production and Management (MPXA) has opened inscriptions for the second edition of the scholarship programme dedicated to participants of Training Ground.

MPXA, a degree accredited by the University of A Coruña, Spain, offers a scholarship covering 100% of the tuition fee (8 500 euros). The scholarship is destined to help a Training Ground participant to further their knowledge being guided by professionals of the audiovisual sector.

Acknowledging the importance of training for the development of the audiovisual sector, the Santiago Rey Fernández-Latorre Foundation started this Master in 1999. The programme has been going ever since and has become a reference in the Spanish industry with alumni including founders of Bambu Producciones (Teresa Fernández-Valdés) and Vaca Films (Borja Pena and Emma Lustres), two of the most successful production companies emerging from Spain in the recent years.

MPXA is focused on professional practice; that is why it is based on a practical and personalised teaching model- with a maximum of 16 students. The teaching body is composed of professionals active at a high level in the industry and the Master facilitates networking between the students and their teachers who work for TV networks, as well as production and distribution companies leaders in the field.

Throughout the course, each student develops an original project in all its phases, which they will then have to present in front of industry professionals which will analyze its quality and viability. The projects are supervised by experienced tutors throughout the year. Furthermore, the programme includes a compulsory paid internship for a minimum of 2 months.
