Remi Boubal, a great composer and Camille Lugan, a great director and script writer. They have collaborated on several projects such as the short film “La Persistente”. In this session they will talk about their collaboration and the relation between music and image.

Rémi is a French film music composer. He composed for feature films such as Fleuve noir by Erick Zonca, Nuestras Madres by Cesar Diaz (Caméra d'Or at Cannes Film Festival 2019), Les Révoltés by Simon Leclère ... He also wrote scores for documentary features like Bigger than us directed by Flore Vasseur or Teach me if you can by Emilie Therond. Recently he composed the score for Plan 75 directed by Chie Hayakawa (Special Mention Caméra d'Or at Cannes Film Festival 2022).
Camille Lugan is a screenwriting graduate from French film school La Fémis. After working as a film programmer in Chicago, she co-wrote several features (Dune Dreams by Samuel Doux; Ibrahim by Samir Guesmi, selected at the 73rd edition of the Cannes Film Festival) and television shows (Maroni, season 2, aired on ARTE). She has directed three short films: Karama, Karama (2014), La Persistente (2018), which was selected for the “Semaine de la Critique” and Time’s Up (2021). Her first feature film as a director is currently in financing process.
