This session will allow you to better understand the multiple sound formats used in cinema, from stereo and 5.1, to the most recent ones, such as Dolby Atmos. Also, some technologies such as Ambisonics and Binaural will be presented. With a better understanding of the technologies, you can now create more interesting sound experiences.

Nuno Fonseca is the creator and CEO of Sound Particles - main partner of Sound and Music Hub. He loves technology, sound and cinema and is a former university professor, with a PhD in computer audio.
