A recent divorcee is in the midst of an existential crisis. In search of a new life, he decides to abandon his past at a roadside gas station. However, an obsession with his new designer deerskin jacket encourages him to spend his remaining savings. He then turns to the world of crime, in the company of a waitress as innocent as she is adventurous and entrepreneurial. Deerskin is a French horror and comedy film, written and directed by Quentin Dupieux. Its world premiere took place in the Directors’ Fortnight, at the Cannes Film Festival, on May 15, 2019.
