Synopsis

A middleclass working professional struggles to buy food amid Venezuela’s humanitarian crisis. When buying flour for his mother’s birthday cake, he gets caught in the violent looting of a food truck and a conflict arises. Joanna Nelson’s Flour provides you with a
thought-provoking vision of the political, economic and financial crisis in Venezuela, assuming much greater importance in the process. The film also marks her return to our event, after having been one of the great winners of last year’s edition of FEST – Pitching Forum.
