Synopsis

Brussels. On a flea market, the filmmaker discovers a suitcase full of 16mm rolls which turns out to be the work of a mysterious Dr. Veroft. This doctor filmed meticulously insects for nearly 40 years. He described them in notebooks and dissected them. Why such a fascination for insects? The film is like an investigation to know who was this doctor, and questions this strange aesthetic at stake in his work.
