Synopsis

Driven by the wish to do something good Martha convinces her flatmates to invite a refugee to live with them. Shortly after, mediated by an ngo, Samuel moves in. When the situation of their Cameroonian housemate Samuel
takes a dramatic turn, the dedicated Martha and her flatmates have to face the question: How far do they really want to go, to help? Club Europa is the first feature by Franziska M. Hoenische, a German artist whose path is inevitably connected to our event, having been a Training Ground and Pitching Forum alumni. Closing this year’s festival with her latest work will be memorable.
