During a journey towards a better life — an escape from evil — we take a look at three young protagonists from Belarus, Ukraine and Afghanistan for whom Poland became the “New World” referenced in the title. What better way to close this year’s edition of Fest than with an ensemble of some of Europe’s most promising filmmakers? New World offers exactly that: three young artists’ vision on emigration and on the baggage each newcomer brings to their new host country.
