Synopsis

This winner of the Crystal Bear in Berlin tells the story of an idyllic rural community in Sweden, powerfully shaken by the rape allegation of a young girl against one of her classmates. Conservative values and the “flock spirit” quickly settle in, and suddenly the victim is seen as the aggressor. Flocking by Beata Gårdeler has become one of the great moral dilemmas of contemporary European cinema.
