Synopsis

Samuel and Rodrigo begin a trip in search of their mother who disappears after leaving behind a note saying: “I had to go, Mom”. The teenage brother’s relationship becomes tense and fractured as they travel through the desert landscape following clues from their childhood memories. “The life after” was one of the most successful Latin-American films of the year and arrives now in Espinho after great success at events such as Gothenburg Film Festival.
