Synopsis

Lumezzane, “the golden valley” on the Italian pre-Alps, once an example of exceptional economic growth and a favored destination for migration, is now undergoing a major economic and identity crisis.How do the inhabitants of this town view their own reality? How would they represent it on screen? These are the questions guiding this personal documentary, thus creating a tension between the possibility of making a documentary and its actual realization.
