Lucy has made television programmes around the world for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Nickelodeon and Disney. She has TV credits on BAFTA and RTS award winning children’s and factual programmes and the acclaimed flagship architecture series Grand Designs. She gained a masters degree from the British Film Institute/University of London, and began her career at Sight and Sound and the BFI Archive before moving into production and then academia in 2010.

Lucy joined the University of Greenwich in September 2015 and has secured partnerships with high profile industry names to increase employability and showcase student talent. Outcomes include screening student films at the BFI London Film Festival and South by Southwest in Texas and winning two Royal Television Society Awards for Best Drama and Best Screenwriting at ITV Studios in London.

She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, former committee member of the BAFTA Careers Working Group, BFI trained Arts Award Leader and winner of a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in International Engagement. She is a passionate advocate of gender and diversity equality within the creative industries and is co-author of The TV Studio Production Handbook published by I.B.Tauris in October 2016.
