FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival always keeps its doors open to those who want to learn more about the world of cinema and film festivals, and who want to begin their professional journey here.
The 22nd edition of FEST takes place from June 20th to 28th, 2026. If you’re available and interested in becoming part of the FEST family, we would be delighted to welcome you in Espinho!

HOW CAN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER AT FEST?
Over the years, FEST has received hundreds of volunteers and this year will be no exception. We are looking for volunteers in a variety of areas, who have a liking for organizing events, are communicative and have a passion for the 7th Art.
Available volunteering areas:
- Photo Coverage and Editing;
- Video coverage and editing;
- Social Network Management;
- Design and Multimedia;
- Production team;
- Box office;
- Event management;
- Point of sale management;
- Technical Staff
- Subtitling/Translation;
- Public Relations.
