Week #2 - We bring film to you

So this week we brought you 5 more jam-packed days of great films, so you don’t feel tempted to leave your house, and can spend time inside, watching movies all day long.

This is a little recap of what we did this week:


Monday - Hello, goodbye

The first short film of the week was “Hello Goodbye”, a beautiful movie perfect to watch on a rainy day. “Hello Goodbye” comes from Norway and was directed by Emilie K. Beck. 

This short competed in 2016 for the Silver Lynx. A love story that you will not want to miss.

Tuesday - Hold On

“Hold On” is a story brought to you by Charlotte Scott-Wilson that competed on FEST in 2016, where it won the Silver Lynx.

Kyra is a young cellist on her way to becoming an outstanding soloist. When in the middle of an important concert one of the strings of her cello com lose and she has to string it back up, she is struck by a panic attack.

So hold on to this short for now:


Wednesday - SOG

“SOG” is an animation short brought to you directly from Germany, by the hand of Jonatan Schwenk, that competed on FEST in 2018.

After a flood, some fish got stuck in old trees. In danger of drying-out, they scream sharply. Woken up by the noise, the inhabitants of a nearby cave don’t feel happy about the unintended gathering.

Thursday - The Beep Test

"The Beep Test" is a gift from Canada. A great short directed by Maxime Aubert, the movie competed on FEST in 2018.

This movie is about Wojtek a mysterious new student at school. This is why he is a prey designated for Thomas and Philippe, two students in search of entertainment. Not finding the words in front of his assailants, Wojtek will go back to his physical education course to express the substance of his thoughts.

Friday - Oh What a Wonderful Feeling

This last movie, “Oh What a Wonderful Feeling”  is brought to you by FEST, courtesy of director Françoi Jaros and competed on FEST in 2017 in the short fiction category.

As the synopsis puts it: stars, hide your fires, let not light see my black and deep desires. Nor a truck.
