Juliette Welfling and Polly Duval join FEST PRO 2022

Between the 21st and the 26th of June, Juliette Welfling and Polly Duval enlarge the FEST PRO 2022 panel with the other names already announced - Temple Clark, Tomas Eskilsson e Michał Łuka, experts on storyboarding, the future of public financing, and cutting-edge cinematography.

Juliette Welfling and Polly Duval are two remarkable post-production supervisors. They will delve into post-production techniques and the art of Film Delivery and its evolution.

An Academy Award nominee and a winner of multiple Cesar Awards, French editor Juliette Welfling's filmography features several acclaimed movies across various languages. She is perhaps best known for her Oscar-nominated work in the biographical drama The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007), which won several prestigious international awards, including accolades at the Cannes Film Festival, Golden Globes, and BAFTA Awards.

Welfling's illustrious repertoire in French cinema includes five Cesar Awards, which she received courtesy of the Jacques Audiard films See How They Fall (1994), The Beat That My Heart Skipped (2005), A Prophet (2009) and Rust and Bones (2012). Notable editorial credits in American cinema include The Hunger Games (2012), the historical war drama Free State of Jones (2016), and the heist comedy Ocean's 8 (2018).

Polly Duval is a British post-production supervisor. For over twenty years she has been working in London at the heart of British independent film alongside some of the most highly regarded directors and producers in the industry.

Polly has worked on more than forty feature films including Notes on a Scandal, Mr Turner, Brooklyn, Peterloo, Judy and Operation Mincemeat.

Recently she completed post-production on Cannes Film Festival hit Mothering Sunday, and is currently in post on LIVING – an adaptation of the Kurosawa film Ikiru, starring Bill Nighy – and on Working Title’s What's Love Got to do With it? starring Lily James and Emma Thompson.
